How we calculate the index: asking rents for office units advertised on public listing portals on 4 October 2026. Figures are medians per sq ft a year; the middle half is the range between the 25th and 75th percentile of listings. Business-centre desks and flexi offices, including small units in buildings made of them, are counted separately and left out. A unit advertised by several agencies is counted each time.
